Manufacturer Notes: This smooth cone 5-6 body fires a dark black in oxidation. It is designed with Red Velvet in mind. One will find the same great plasticity that makes Red Velvet a great throwing body in Night. This Body is for oxidation firing only. Make sure fumes are not breathed off kiln. DO NOT RAKU. To get bright colors we recommend using a white engobe under your glazes. This will allow brightly colored glazes to shine and reduce pin holing. Recommended bisquing at cone 04 to improve glaze performance.
