Rice Paper Decals - Black UG's
These decals are beautifully patterned images that have been screen-printed with underglaze onto rice paper. Rice paper is a very thin, lightweight material, which allows for smooth and even image transfer onto flat or curved surfaces. When placed oxide-side down onto clay (bisque or greenware) and the back of the paper is moistened with water, the image will transfer onto the clay. They work very similar to fake tattoos! They should be treated as underglazes, so once the decal has been transferred, it can be covered with a clear or transparent glaze. While these fire to a broad range of temperatures (manufacturer lists cone 04-11), we recommend testing them with your own glazes and firing parameters. Sheets are roughly 8.5 x 11", although size may vary slightly.

Minnesota Clay U/G Potter's Stamp Pad
A great way to apply underglaze decoration. Just like using a regular stamp pad. Simply apply an inked rubber stamp to a bisque fired piece, allow the decoration to dry and cover with a transparent glaze. Work at a wide range of glaze maturing temperatures. For best results, fire cone 06-8.

Turquoise, yellow, rose, dark blue, brown, dark green, black, white. Similar to chalk pastels. Use on bisque. Colours may be blended by rubbing or softened by brushing over with water. Cover with clear glaze or leave unglazed for a soft, dry surface. Sponge on the first coat of clear glaze lightly in order not to smear design.
